It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like a Book Launch…

Hey friends! I’ve got some really exciting news coming for Christmas in July and I can barely contain myself. Since you’re all such wonderful readers and supporters, I wanted to give you a sneak peek of what’s to come!

For those of you who don’t know, I’m absolutely OBSESSED with Hallmark Christmas movies. I wrote about them here. The familiar format is like curling up in your warmest blanket. (Which is a little hard to imagine right now because it’s the temperature of a blast furnace outside.) The best part about them is you always know what to expect; the beats are the same, the narrative is ridiculous, and the tropes are an absolute delight. They make me happy. And we can all use a little more happy.

After binging a few too many this year, I got to thinking, what happens to the person who gets dumped by the protagonist? What’s their story? And then Jack and Ella crashed into my life and wouldn’t let me go.
